I've been having a miserable time getting Semantic Proxy to work. At first I tried it with the Feeds module then decided to approach it with a control so I'm using the OP1.7 default installation. I still can't get it to work with normal news feeds like Google and Yahoo.
I then after a couple of hours went ahead and installed Tattler to see how it was configured. I'm not doing anything different. I even recreated the feed type for the Google feed manually.
I created a field to save the full text to and mapped it in the Calais Node settings page under feed item->semantic proxy. This is great. I can have the actual content pulled from the destination of the feed link to the feed node. The implications can be dirty ]:-) However, it does not tag the content and leaves the terms blank -- which is really going to render the power to connect content on my site to content throughout the web useless.
Here are the errors:
* URL for SemanticProxy is invalid:
* URL for SemanticProxy is invalid:
* URL for SemanticProxy is invalid: The Feeds.module gives me the ability to map the URL to a different field (maybe). However, the Feeds.module is creating all nodes from feeds with the UID '0' so I can't work with them unless I also start to make my own views for everything.
Also, I would like to see Tattler continued to be developed, it's a good idea and much more advanced than the current Drupal alternative Managing News.

Neither OpenPublish nor
Neither OpenPublish nor Tattler use Feeds, yet. They both still use FeedAPI. I wonder if you were getting similar errors when OpenPublish was running with FeedAPI and only started getting errors once you switched to Feeds, or not?

The only thing that I did was update all the modules and core. This installation of OP1.7 is using FeedAPI. Must have something to do with the module upgrades.

Semantic proxy errorsI have
Semantic proxy errors on live test site.
I have set for only 4 news feeds, that load 10 items from each feed.
Reuters only.
Everytime I update the feeds I get the semantic proxy errors
Has this ever been dealt with? Or maybe a better question... where do I go to get a good answer on this?
I have standard defaults set for Calais for categories and I only selected 4 very popular topics, politics, health, etc.
Not sure this helps
Not sure if this helps but i'm toying with a complete stock install of OP2.0 and get the same errors when creating a feed or publishing a feed item.
