Hi everyone,
I have collected the suggestions for presentations for the Central Connecticut Meetup Group and posted them together on the wiki page entitled Suggested Activities for the Central Connecticut Drupal Meetup Group. Please feel free to add new suggestions to this page, expand on existing suggestions on this page, and add your name to presentations you have interest in giving.
I have also created the wiki page entitled Central Connecticut Drupal Meetup Group to serve as a primary online resource to assist in organizing our Meetups. On that page, I suggest an agenda for our monthly Meetups based upon previous suggestions. On that page, I suggest we continuously update the Suggested Activities wiki page as we continue to hold Meetups, and each month during the Group Business portion of our Meetup, we select next presentations/activities to be held at future Meetups and assign a Meetup Group member to lead that activity.
I believe, use of the two wiki pages and the monthly agenda will keep our Meetup Group moving forward with everyone's ideas and contributions given full consideration. Please let me know if you believe we should operate in some other way.
Our next meeting is Tuesday, April 20th from 7pm to 9pm. We need two Meetup Group members to step forward and offer to present 1) a 30-minute Drupal Experience Presentation (Here is what I have been doing with Drupal) and 2) a 30-minute Drupal How-To Presentation (Here is how to accomplish some task with Drupal). I will finalize our agenda once two people come forward. Concurrently, I will begin to ask specific Group Members to step up and offer a presentation to cover the case that everyone feels a bit shy.
I am waiting for a confirmation on our Meetup location for April.
