OpenResort - www.openresort.org started out as a business directory, and has evolved into a booking engine. For the purpose of a business directory our module works great. Check it out.

I have just tried to install
I have just tried to install the module off openresort.org and it has crashed my site! Now I can not access any pages, so I can not remove the module!

How? Need more detail to help
Sounds like you might just be low on memory. Have you read http://drupal.org/node/158043?
If not, can you post any errors from your web server or php error log?
Disable the module manually
To get you site back up, disable the module using phpMyAdmin as per: http://drupal.org/node/157632
When that's done you can have a look at what the issues are with OpenResort.
Cheers,

Yes it is a memory problem.
Yes it is a memory problem. In the end I reinstalled Drupal and started again.
I don't think I can fix the memory problem because it is on a share host and I don't have access to the php.ini file. Although I will contact the host and see what they say.
In the end I installed the Open Resort version from Drupal rather than openresort.org and this worked without any memory problem.
The one on openresort.org is a newer version. I understand that it includes the Javascript Tools module. Does anyone know if the module itself has additional features that are not present on the version on Drupal.org? The one thing that I notice in the demo on openresort.org is the claiming a listing features, which does not seem to exist in the module from drupal.org.

What is it offering?
Now that you have it installed, do you like it? How flexible is it and how are you using it?
Just curious before I take the plunge myself. Do you think using CCK/Views would be a better option?
Hi, I didn't get very far
Hi,
I didn't get very far with it. I actually stopped working on my business directory totally because other priorites came up. I will start again soon though.
From what I remember, the open resort directory did look good. It had some functionality where you can add a directory listing and the busness owner can "claim" that listing, which was quiet nicely done.
I'm guessing that CCK/Views will have you a lot more flexibilty, but will take longer to set up
