I am going to upgrade from 1.6 to 2.0 this weekend on my test site.
Is there a way to do this without losing my content? Are there any instructions?

There is no upgrade instruction from 1.6 to 2.0 but there is one for 1.6 to 1.7.

There is no official
There is no official guideline to upgrade from 1.7 to 2.0 but someone in this list had mentioned that they successfully upgraded without much issues. I myself have done the upgrade in one of my sites but failed on the other. The one that I was successful did not have any major change in structure (views, etc.). But my other site had some changes in views and I could not upgrade that.
So far I know, the developers are now testing the upgrade path and hope that they will come up with a step by step instruction.
