Considerations

  • We have held several successful Meetups on the 3rd Tuesday of each month so that has been a good day for current attendees of the group.
  • I avoided a day that conflicts with the regional Boston Drupal Meetup (1st Tuesday) and NYC Drupal Meetup (1st Wednesday). These are stong and well-established groups with excellent presentations and networking opportunities.
  • None of the suggested days conflict with the nearby Western MA Drupal Meetup (3rd Wednesday) and Lower Fairfield Meetup (3rd Wednesday). Perhaps, we will want to grab a speaker from their group or they will want to grab a speaker from our group.
  • We had one "can't make it" response for all but the fourth proposed pair of dates in the previous online discussion.
  • I added the fifth proposed pair of dates because it separates our meeting days by two weeks, keeps it simple as both meeting days are on Tuesday, and nearby/regional Meetups do not meet during the week of the proposed days. This is my preferred set of dates though it does not include the 3rd Tuesday on which we have been meeting.
