With attendees north, south, east and west of Hartford, we have selected Hartford for the location of our Meetup.
Nearby Meetups include Western MA, Lower Fairfield, Albany and Northern NJ.
A suggestion was made to add a second monthly Meetup to which there was favorable response from the group.
There is a considerable amount of Drupal activity happening in New Haven at Yale and a suggestion was made to attract and make it easier for Drupalists closer to New Haven to attend our Meetup.
I looked over the locations of all attendees of our past Meetups and Meridan appeared to be the most reasonable location still central and reachable by highway to past attendees and twenty minutes closer to New Haven and more convenient to Drupalists in that area. Thus, before feedback from the group and potential future attendees, Meridan is my preference for the location of a second monthly Central Connecticut Meetup.
I'd like to hear from others:
Would Meridan be close enough to New Haven to attract Drupalists in that area?
No hosting location came to mind in Meridan. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Moving a bit further South would be less convenient for current attendees but there are more obvious locations (schools) as hosting possibilities. How far south would current attendees be willing to travel?
