Topics versus Articles?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Here's something odd: Only one one my articles/ taxonomy and menu items list the articles in that taxonomy, while the rest only display a blank listing page. However, if I substitute topics/ for articles/, the stories list. I would convert all to topics/, but the formatting isn't present as it is with the /articles.

Any reason why the two paths are acting differently?

How is your vocabulary id provided in /topics?
Try to set it the same as /articles

My current menu items are set

I found the reason: I had the articles view set to promote to front page = Yes. Instead, it should have been set to No. My current menu items are set like this:

/category/topic/my_subject

OpenPublish
