New Time
A little earlier this month, 5:30pm, to give us more time to discuss. And it's also possible that happy hour will still be in effect :)
Location
The Prado Restaurant at 5:30pm. We can discuss things over dinner, and then head to the Sports Museum for the meetup.
Agenda
The second meeting for 2011. Last time we had a great turnout, I think about 15 people! We talked about ideas for this year, and ways to improve the event from a great 2010. Committees were created, and folks volunteered for things they were interested in. Some groups dealt with tasks that only become important as we get closer to camp, but for those can get started now we agree that each committee would meet at least once before the next get together, and appoint a chair for each.
At the June meeting we will hear from committees that have met and assign any new organizers who have joined us. Then on to new business.

SANDCamp 2011 Planning Meeting
Camp Date: Jan 29th and 30th
Location: Hall of Champions, Balboa Park
Next Planning Meeting: 5:30 at the Prado, June 9th
Planning Groups:
NOTE: To increase our rock star power, those groups with
*'s below are encouraged to meet BEFORE the next planning
meeting and provide status
*Sponsors: Karl, Ron, Kathy
Line up Sponsors early and contact those who've already said 'YES!'
Susan setting up SDDUG business license and account for early submissions
*Website: Kathy, Karl, Troy, Rich, BillC, Rick, DaveC
Target date for site deploy is July 1st. Include
Useability design, theme etc (theme to be branding
for t-shirts, brochures)
*Session Coordination - DaveC, Christoph, BillC, SeanS, RonT
-Consider sessions/track for specific groups (e.g. libraries,
gov, univ, museums, non-profit)
-Set up San Diego Panel Discussion (include local SD companies)
-Ping those whose presentations would round out the
conference for skill level, quality etc.

quality (and oh, not taste like sewer water).

Website Meeting Wed 5/26
Ok - the Website group will be meeting on Wednesday (5/26) at 6:00 over in Sorrento Valley. Open to any drupaler interested in working on or just getting involved with the redesign of the sandcamp.org website. I know some people were interested in the hands-on mechanics of designing and implementing a real drupal site, so this might be for you!
If you haven't already - just contact me (clickety click here) and I'll give you directions to the meetup. Should be fun. Oh - and there will be pizza...
