Converting Content Types

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I have nearly 600 blog entries that need to be converted to articles. I'm considering using the nodetypes module, but it says it won't convert CCK types. Is this fine for OP articles? What content type conversion would you recommend?

Thanks for this tip! I was slogged through using nodetype to convert each page and blog entry to an article by hand. The bulk template is fantastic - a great time-saver. The module could be enhanced if the templates added some mapping, such as author name and taxonomy.
