I'm just getting a couple of arrows where the title of the node should be, not only on the front page but on the article page as well. As only a subtheme has been created and no other css touched yet, I can't figure out why.

How did you subtheme it? Any more details would be good to assess and prescribe suggestions. Is your "Article" feature showing any overridden message?

I followed the instructions
I followed the instructions here http://groups.drupal.org/node/78603 as I wanted to remove the tweets. But I also enabled the default theme and they are still not showing, but they did on a previous install. I have wiped everything off before now as I am just getting used to how OP works.
OP2.0 is installed on a WAMP server running php5.2.11

That's odd. If you are using the default theme it should show everything okay unless they files have been corrupted or somehow got modified. Did you clear the cache, by the way?

I thought so as well. After
I thought so as well. After looking at the features and seeing one was greyed out. can't remember which one, I did a reinstall and all is OK again. Mainly just finding my way around the system. I wont say I'm competent with Drupal but learning all the time.
