I downloaded the features update (for OP 2.1) - but where do the files go?

I think it should go to /sites/all/modules/ to overwrite the openpublish_features directory.

I did that and my blog entry
I did that and my blog entry titles vanished from the front page. The blog names and timestamps print.
Double check if the folder
Double check if the folder name has been renamed to something else or not.

Another Bit of Weirdness
Now when single articles are displayed, the right sidebar is lost. The only context now listed is the frontpage. It is making me consider restoring the whole thing from an earlier backup.

See the context settings, they must have been overridden. You may need to enable those contexts that are not showing.
