Slideshow problem

Hi Everyone!

My “article” has a relationship with a “slideshow” through the “Related Multimedia” field. What I want to do is the following; I want an article page to show its slideshow above the content.
I have a very nice slideshow view that works perfectly inside a block, except for one major problem. It shows the same slideshow on every article page and I don’t understand how to connect it to the specific article. I have tried using the Related Multimedia field, and it shows nothing instead.

I am new to Drupal, have no problems with CSS and HTML but a very limited knowledge about PHP. Though I am one of those old-timers who spent my time in basements programming very, very large computers 30 years ago… which at least helps me understand the principles even though I’m not good at PHP.
I would be thankful if anyone has a suggestion or an alternative route to the end result.
Thanks
Cathie

In general, the slideshow is very limited.
Imagine how nice it would be to have a nice slideshow block for the front page?
Or to have a slide show instead of a picture.
