Hey Everyone,
The third DrupalCamp Toronto website sprint is on for this Wednesday August 11th and will be happening at the Centre for Social Innovation (215 Spadina Toronto Ontario) at 7:00pm.
We are getting together to develop the features and theme of the camp website.
The story so far
The past two sprints have been spent getting the foundations set and this next one will hopefully have us finalizing content types, starting to populate the site with menu items, fake data, and basic design. Hopefully we can also start testing user registration work flow and iron out any outstanding issues.
Rough Agenda
- Review what was done last sprint
- Identify new or modified requirements
- Break into teams and sprint till we can't sprint anymore
What you'll need to bring
- Yourself.
- A laptop.
- An eagerness to help.
- Also a plus to have is a working Drupal development environment and an SVN client
How to let us know you're interested
RSVP to this post
Hope to see you there

Are people who're pretty new
Are people who're pretty new to using Drupal welcome/useful, or is this something that only more experienced users should come out for?
accessibility
I cannot attend the sprint, but I would be interested in reviewing the site / theme for accessibility. If someone can point me to a dev URL or provide SVN directions I can take a look.

Is there a code sprint tonight? I have it in my calendar but I don't see an event on g.d.o. I am planning to come if it's happening.

The sprints are on a
The sprints are on a bi-weekly schedule, so the next one is August 25th.
I thought there is
I recall it being mentioned last week.
The Think Tank room is booked on the 4th floor @CSI for 6:30. I assume some of us will be there. (I can't make it.)
I thought there was something this Wednesday, but nothing is booked. I think it would be great if we can accelerate a bit. Once we have a site up (even without registration), people can more easily schedule their time to attend the event.

Discussion outside meetings?
Hey guys, do we have any wiki or mailing list for discussion outside the meetings? I've been playing around with a few things, but wanted to do a quick recap to make sure I've got the big picture...
Alright, so here's my understanding: We want to provide signup for individual days, so that someone can sign up for a single day (Friday or Saturday) or both days at a discounted rate. We also need to keep track of signup numbers, either through the signup module itself, or via ubercart stock levels, so that each day can be at capacity. We also want to collect personal info for name tags. We also want one person to be able to sign up a group of people.
From what I gathered, we weren't feeling that the past efforts from other DrupalCamps were providing everything we needed, and so we were looking into potentially using CiviCRM. I remember some valid reasons being floated, but I'm now having trouble remembering what these were, especially after playing around with the offerings.
It would seem that to Conference Organization distribution (COD) Group has most of our functionality covered with the COD support feature package.
I can't be sure, but I think that this screencast might clear up some of the fuzziness that we all had about UC Signup, and I'm pretty sure it will do the trick:
UC Signup module screencast: http://vimeo.com/6495928
I've set up a test account to test out: http://dcto.dev3.webenabled.net
I just enabled the COD Event feature from the COD support feature package, and created an event for each day, along with a Product kit for the dual-day pass. I only added one profile field (Full name) to request during registration, but we can customize that if we'd like more info.
Any thoughts? Will this do the proverbial trick?
Hmmmm...
My webenabled site seems to be out of commission right now... hopefully it'll be back up later
Can't make it tonight, but
