I want to add a time field to the event content type. However, when I added a datetime widget, the time results don't print: ie, only the date portion displays. How do I get both the date AND time to display in an event node?

I fixed this by unselecting the strongarm and op imce config modules. I'd like to replace the date event field with a datetime so that I have a 12-hour time and the choice of am or pm. Can I replace those fields and still be able to search events by month?
So, Did You Make This Work?
So, ithacaindy, did you get the date and time to appear? Did you have to disable strongarm and op imce to get this to work? If so, I think you need to find a different solution, since strongarm is an important part of open publish.

I disabled strongarm some time ago. So far, I've seen no repercussions.
Strongarm is necessary to
Strongarm is necessary to manage variables with Features. As such, disabling Strongarm is not a good idea, esp. during upgrades between the versions of OP.
That said, I am marking the original issue (time in events) as a feature request for the future versions of OP.
I am also confused why would strongarm interfere with what you are trying to accomplish. It should not. If you manage to identify a specific error/problem, you may want to open a bug report for strongarm.
Also, I think Strongarm is one of the modules updated as part OP 2.2. I wonder if the newer version has the same problems you experienced in the earlier one.
Thank you

I will be recreating the timed events later today with the new strongarm enabled, so we'll see if the 2.2 strongarm includes the same bug as the previous version. I disabled strongarm after someone in this forum pointed to a support thread mentioning disabling strongarm allowed the time field to be displayed.

Time show up in events after hours and seconds are added to the event content type's granularity. The one sticking point: am/pm cannot be specified. How can I accomplish adding an am/pm selector for events?
