I would like to import a number of events, but I cannot find a module that works.
Node import doesn't do events; importexportapi doesn't work either. I have the following questions:
1; Is there a module that does import events (preferably from a csv-file)?
2; As a workaround I consider the following:
- import events as other type that does work with node import
- change the type in node-table to event
- import required dates in content_type_events-table (with vid/nid data)
Is that a solution or will I break the database?
I'm new at OpenPublish and Drupal so any advice is welcome. Thanks.
Jurgen

Manually changing the database works, but Node Import doesn't work. What can I use to import new nodes in OpenPublish 2.2 that works?
You should use the Table
You should use the Table Wizard and Migrate modules. http://www.lullabot.com/articles/drupal-data-imports-migrate-and-table-w...
If you manage your events in Google Calendar it would just be easier to continue to manage them there and user Feeds or Feed API to import the iCal.

gcal events
For what I needed Gcal events was suitable. Very easy to configure and with the ability to merge calendars.
