Please look in the Apache logs to find the specific error and post it here. The error message you are posting is insufficient to conclude what is going wrong.

Your LAMP stack is

Your LAMP stack is misconfigured. Segmentation fault is often caused by faulty eAccelerator PHP plugin. Are you using it?

No, I only install APC in

No, I only install APC in here, didin't use eAccelerator plugin.

It's impossible to tell

It's impossible to tell what's causing the segfault without a backtrace.

Are you able to reinstall these packages? If you're not on a server that's currently hosting a website, that would be my advice. If you can't reinstall, try to get us logs with mod_backtrace.

I know you said you followed

I know you said you followed the installation document, but I just want to make sure you saw this page:

http://openpublishapp.com/doc/system-requirements

Every time I've installed OP I've needed to make these changes. I also had trouble with PHP 5.3 (although admittedly I didn't try for very long). Give 5.2 a shot if you're not already using that version.

Failing that, I would get a clean install of PHP and re-download (or check the hash of your current) OP.

yes, i see this page and

If you use XAMPP, make sure

If you use XAMPP, make sure you get version 1.7.1 whch works fine with the tweaks from http://openpublishapp.com/doc/system-requirements
