The goal of this group is to openly discuss the use, features, and framework of OpenPublic, a Drupal framework for Government [http://www.phase2technology.com/openpublic]. You can find us in IRC on irc.freenode.net in #OpenPublic
Drupal 7 Test Cases Fail
I am just starting to look at the OpenPublic beta. I have installed it on a test server where I also have the stock Drupal 7 installed. Working with the Drupal 7 Testing module, all of the test cases pass with the stock Drupal 7 install. However, many of those same tests fail with the OpenPublic install. Just curious whether anyone else has run into this? Before spending time trying to figure out why the tests fail, I wanted to find out whether they are passing for others, or whether there is perhaps some known reason why they fail in the Beta.

Greetings,
I am messing around with an OpenPublic instance prototyping whether it could be an alternative to our Innovation Office's main site. I have the prototype up at http://innovatesf.org/innovation and have posted the files and db at http://innovatesf.org/innovation/innovation_site.tar.gz so you could have a look under the hood. (I cleansed the sites/default/settings.php file). The file will update daily via cron.
I have had a number of minor issues with OP mostly around CSS but am now facing one that I cannot seem to solve...yet.

Read moreWSoD becoming a pervasive problem with OpenPublic
I have spent a large amount of time trying to determine the WSoD issue with OpenPublic. Continuing research shows that it is a server side issue and is not specific to a particular browser, as I originally thought. All my server memory and php settings are even more generous than the settings recommended on the openpublicapp.com site.
Read moreWSoD on Modules page
I'm receiving the white screen of death on the modules page. I tried the suggestions here: http://drupal.org/node/31819 and it actually made the problem worse causing other admin pages to get the WSoD.
The rest of the site works fine. The only reason I even noticed is because I would like to install a calendar module (surprised it's not included actually) and create an event list for the home page.
I'm guessing this is a memory issue and hoping that someone else has run into this issue/has a fix.
T.I.A. for any help!
Issue with OpenPublic and Firefox 4
I have been struggling to find the source of a complex bug with OpenPublic. I recently installed OpenPublic on my dev server and everything worked perfectly. Then, about 3 days ago, I upgraded Firefox to 4 RC and the fun began.

Hot off the heals of DrupalCon, a number of Drupal'Govies are trying to figure out what's next. With the release of OpenPublic, there is a unique opportunity to tackle some of our more complex issues with an unprecedented way in sharing code, modules, content types and now APPS!!!
FYI, when I'm talking about a "summit," I'm describing a day/s that are mixture between a hackday, unconference, and a "con." Check out this summary < http://groups.drupal.org/node/98784 >.

I'd be interested to hear about any city or county government that are ready to roll with a cloud based implementation of OpenPublic/Drupal because we want to help 10 cities get live in the next 16 weeks.

Read moreCalling onClick function...
Hi,
I have created an image map. It means clicking on different parts of image will popup different content. It is working well on my local system but when I am uploading the same on the drupal website, its popup feature is not working. I am new to the drupal and need your help.
Please let me know how to call OnClick function in drupal.
Thanks.

Hi!
We are organizing currently the www.drupalgovdays.com in Brussels , where we want to release an European version of OpenPublic together with Phase2 Technology.
This will include:
1 Additional Theme for OpenPublic
European GOV Modules
And hopefully we can have some European case until then...
Anyway I think it makes no sense to split it into different discussion groups as it is the same system :) What do you think? It would be great to co-maintain this group and expand its global exposure.
Best Regards,
Ivo Radulovski
