Hey Y'all.
Come out to the Way Out West meetup tomorrow night. We will be meeting at the Forest Grove Library (in the Rogers Room) at 6:30.
This is a beginner meetup and the subject will be Theming, specifically sub-theming why and how. This is not the same as the meetup on Thursday this is just the basics. So if you are new to Drupal or have an interest in making your own theme, this would be a good place to start.
For you that already know how to make your own theme and are aspiring themers, don't miss the meetup on the East Side tomorrow night.
Read moreDICOM image support?
I'm wondering if anyone in the Drupal community has been pioneering support for the DICOM (medical) image format. From some preliminary googling, there seems to be a PHP Imagemagick library that can do conversions, etc. (http://www.nanodicom.org/documentation/faq)
I'm working on a program that needs to store/process these images for display in a web browser, as part of a web app geared towards facilitating Ultrasound reporting. Any help or info in this avenue would be greatly appreciated!

Read moreA proposed approach for DrupalCon Portland design process
Tonight at the end of the Front End User Group Meeting, we discussed how we might take on the design process for DrupalCon Portland.
It was noted that no Portland-based or even PacNW design shops submitted proposals to the Drupal Association's Request for Proposals.
Several expressed how Portland Drupal shops are mostly small shops that can't afford to unilaterally commit to such a project.
Many shared the desire to contribute and wondered if such a project could be crowd-sourced to the Portland Drupal and Design community, of which we are so proud.
