Open Atrium

When you have a flexible framework like the new Open Atrium, it means that the possibilities are endless for how people can use it. Now that Open Atrium 2 has been out in the wild for a bit, we're hearing that it's being used for everything from intranets to learning management systems, collaboration platforms to portals. We would really love to hear how people are using it, if you're willing to share. That way we can continue to build new ideas and best practices as a community.

First a heads up, this issue may have nothing to do with BOA but I wanted to check if anyone else was experienceing issues.

I have a site running of Atrium 1.0 P.001 on BOA and I can't seem to select Notifications. I've raised an issue with OA but there has been little response and it doesn't seem to be a common issue.

Emails get sent when I add people to the site so the site is sending emails fine. I just can't select people to Notify at all when I make an edit or create a node.

How can I do to show the regions in non-drupal sites? I need to show the header content (for example) but it does'nt show the blocks that I have activated.

I already did this steps in a normal Drupal installation (https://drupal.org/node/747784) and works perfect for me, but I can't make it work in Open Atrium.

Im trying to installing on my local machine (windows xp OS) Openatrium-1.0-beta10 over XAMPP 1.7.4, but Im getting this error

Just wanted to get your opinions on Drupal Commons and Open Atrium as an intranet solution. I've googled and found quite a few results, but I wanted to get a more recent and closer opinion of these 2 install profiles.

I have been asked to webmaster a web site that is built upon Open Atrium (http://openatrium.com/). Open Atrium is a team collaboration framework built upon a Drupal core plus their special "hot sauce" collection of modules. I have read some discussion suggested it has its own update mechanisms.
