Can I combine CiviEvent registration with Drupal registration?
I have online registration set up for a conference using CiviEvent. I want people to register as Drupal users, so I'm not allowing anonymous registrations -- "register for events" is not checked for anonymous but is for authenticated. If someone goes to the registration form without logging in, they get the message:
You do not have permission to register for this event
Call for help with CiviCRM event registration with parent/child relationship
Hi everybody,
There have to be some of you who have experience with CiviCRM, right? If so, I am in some desperate need for local help!
I am currently working on finalizing the coding for a pretty big local project that uses CiviCRM to handle hundreds of events and event participants. Many of these events are intended for children, so the parent/guardian will be registering their child(ren) for various events. I have run into a problem that I have been afraid of for a while and have kind of hit a wall because of it. I would appreciate any help or suggestions you can give me!

I want examples of great looking & great functioning calendars. I've been asking on Twitter but haven't had any responses.
What calendars are there out there that people are really proud of? What's new, different, innovative or even just simply beautiful in this area?
Can we have some examples of different ways to implement calendaring systems and the advantages/disadvantages of them?
At this point I want to point out some possible options for displaying calendar information.
Read moreUsing CiviEvent for Events (Classes) for more than one day
If you've used CiviCRM, particularly the CiviEvent feature, you'll know that for creating events there is a field for the Start Date and one for the End Date. This is great if your event (or class) is a one-day only event. There doesn't appear to be any provision for the same event taking place for more than 1 day, such as a class that meets from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on a Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. How have any of you who have started to use, or are considering using, CiviCRM for event registration (for classes or other purposes) dealt with this?
