Hi all ,

Its been a while.

I was reviewing this node : http://groups.drupal.org/node/192968 and I sighed .... oh what lofty plans we had for Drupal Camp Nigeria 2012 .... oh what lofty plans ...

I can only say in our own defense ... we 've been busy ....

Anyway, we are looking at putting together Drupal Camp 2012 in Lagos this year.
Tentative date is November 17th or 24th . proposed venue is still CCHUB , Lagos .

No lofty plans ... no 3 day event ... not even Abuja ... no flying down Dries ...

where will the after party be?

As you all know, Drupaldelphia is happening on June 22, 2012! We are in need of volunteers to make it great! Here's a short list of ways you can get plugged in to help.

My name is Chad and I attended the 1st Drupal Long Island Meet Up back in May. I am writing this post to tell you about the Drupal Camp in Connecticut @ Yale Univ.

Last year I went and learned a lot so i'm going again.
Just to mention I think this is great camp to get a good start on Drupal

While discussing the Drupal Camp this October I brought up the possibility that we may need to file for Non-Profit status with the State of NH. Since we are soliciting corporate sponsors for the Drupal Camp it maybe the right thing to do. I know that Jake has submitted for a grant with the Drupal Association but we will not hear back on that till the end of August. If we do get the grant then we could work under the Drupal Association umbrella but what if we don’t? Even if we did get the grant having the Non-Profit status would still be a benefit for us.
