Ciao a tutti, siamo lieti di informarvi che oggi abbiamo ricevuto il via ufficiale per gli spazi in cui si terrà il Drupal Camp 2011.

Quest'anno tutta una serie di novità, a partire dalla durata dell'evento che diventerà di due giorni! Il 23 ed il 24 settembre 2011, presso la Facoltà di Scienze MM. FF. NN. di Verona si terrà il DrupalCamp 2011, quindi tieniti libero e non prendere impegni per quelle date!

I started the discussion about Drupal Camp Asheville in another topic, but it has grown far more about the second topic of the discussion so I'm moving DCAVL talks over here.

We will be having another Drupal Camp here in Asheville. We our going to have our first "official" planning meeting in about two weeks. One of the first tasks on the agenda is going to be WHEN. I would like to compile a list here of other events local and national to help better pick a date.

Drupal Camp Asheville 2011

Well it's about time we got the ball rolling on planning for Drupal Camp Asheville. The goal is to have a meeting (presumably at Top Floor Studio in Asheville, NC) in two weeks to get the base plan laid out.

I started a google calendar here: https://www.google.com/calendar/b/0/embed?src=7i9imrputs2u7divjrt9p041gg... and can give write access to whoever wants it. I plotted the major drupal events I could find from a quick search. If you know more please comment and I will add to the list.

Hello Drupeeps!!!

If we intend to have an amazing events this year, I think its about time we started planning. The events for this year as planned by the Open Source Foundation, Nigeria would include Drupal Camp and LinuxFest. I'm presently in talks with the Vice Chancellor of the Osun State University about the same events on their campus otherwise if you have a different opinion we can work with. I think we should have the events in about two to three locations around Nigeria this year.

I'm having a great time here at the Western Mass Drupal Camp and learning a lot! Unfortunately there are many presentations that I'm really interested in seeing that are taking place at the same time...and I can't be in both places at once. I know that many of the presenters are sharing links to the slides used in the presentations and it would be great if they (or those who have them) could post them?

I didn't see a place on the http://drupalcampma.com/ site for future slides or info on the official site but perhaps it might even be better to put them there?

I'm thinking about driving to Phoenix for Drupal Camp coming up next month. I was wondering if any Las Vegas Drupalers were planning on doing the same and would like to carpool.

How is the drive from Vegas to Phoenix? Is it worth the $230 to fly instead? Any comments appreciated.

The Drupal Camp Indy event this weekend was a great success! We had slots for around 90 people but maxed that out and actually had around 100 Drupalers in attendance!

There were 2 issues that we had, but other than that the day went smoothly and I've heard a number of good responses and a number of Thank You's from people who are grateful that we put on the event.

So to follow up on the brief discussion at our last meetup, let's discuss a Camp for this area.

Drupal continues to grow and this area is no exception. Amherst College has been using and depending on Drupal extensively for years. UMASS recently made a major move to Drupal. Many other places in the area are using Drupal to run their business in some way. Camps have proven to be excellent ways to bring this community together to share what we know and further increase what we each can do with this growing technology.
