guild

I'm not deeply versed in the Drupal ecology, so please excuse if this is misdirected! My interest in the Guilds movement (and Voting Systems) is for something with wider applicability, namely a generic reputation system for community sites. I would like an implementation that could handle varied protocol for awarding 'merit' to users based on feedback on their contributions.

I have been working on a World of Warcraft module that caches and display wow toons on a Drupal website.

There are two separate modules:
wowcharsheet - loading (from wowarmory), caching and displaying on wow toons. Automated updates via cron.
wowguild - Extends wowcharsheet by loading guild from wowarmory given a single realm and guild name. Also adds several admin tools to users who are given the 'guild administrator' permission.

The module is currently deployed here http://synthesis.graviteedesigns.com/. The code can be obtained on the wowcharsheet forums. The documentation is a work in progress but please read the installation instructions. I am looking for feedback, bugs and suggestions on this module.

Just saw this group up and right away my first thought is how nice it would be to see some guild management tools as modules for Drupal.

My secondary thought is why just WoW? For me, I'm finding myself just about to depart from Blizzard's MMO and about to take my entire guild en masse over to Age of Conan in the spring. General guild tools (scheduling, roster, DKP, etc.) are what I'm looking for.

I don't want to hijack things here, but just giving my $0.02 that basic guild website functionality would be great, especially if it's not specific to one singular game.
