Services and BACnet Devices

A BACnet device is any device, real or virtual, that supports digital communication using the BACnet protocol (see www.bacnet.org)

BIG-D has formed to develop integration of BACnet devices with Drupal, and http://groups.drupal.org/node/100434 begins discussion to that end. Are there any 'Service Ninjas' with BACnet experience that can help us out? And/or BACneteers that can help point in the right direction?

BACnet systems play an important role in systems relevant to Energy Management, Renewable Energy, Smart Grid applications and energy efficiency in buildings.

searching content stored in xml using Lucence

Hi

I want to implement the lucence search module into my Drupal site.

However, I have a custom module that I developed myself which pulls content from an xml file and displays it using xslt.

I was wondering if it is possible to use the Lucence search module to offer search capabilities for my xml content.

The xml content is stored in files on the server and not in a database.

Is it possible to search xml content with the Lucence module or its API?

I am also interested in any other solutions for searching xml content.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Question for the group

I have a question for you all, we have been building a website for local green business owners to connect with each other. We have an html page that I need to get to be xml. Our super Drupal programmer has not been able to figure out how to get a particular query from our website into an rss feed. It seems like the hook_nodeapi might be a solution if we could figure that out, and the REST server module is way over our heads. Has anyone encountered this before?

XML-feed

Hejsan!

Hur gör man sen? Jag går in och väljer page och importera en xml-fil sen väljer jag vilken xml-fil den ska importera ifrån min mapp testdata. Efter det säger den att min fil är importerad och se resultat nedan....men det är bara en grå ruta.

Download XML Data that's in an RSS Feed

I've been looking at a few modules but I can't seem to find something closer to what I'm looking for.

I have a couple rss feeds that I'm trying to merge using Yahoo Pipes (due to inconsistencies). Each item in the RSS has a link to a custom XML file. Each time a new RSS item comes in, I want to read the link to the XML, parse the XML and put it into a new CCK node, that I've created.

I'm really not sure where to start with this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

API like Uniform for Module-2-Module communication

Hi

First, excuse me if theres already some solution for.
I've surfed drupal.org and also the groups but didn't find something...

What I've to do is building a "stack" like Acquia but with advanced functionality.

For this I'll need to grab some already existing Modules and change some of their functions to work "cleaner" with other or mine, too. Because of this it would make updating Core and also Modules a horrobale job I'm looking for a standardize solution to let Modules communicate with each other without bigger modifying.

connecting Drupal with InCopy / XML?

Hey guys,

I'm the editor of a Harvard weekly called The Voice. Our online edition is based on Drupal, check it out at www.theHvoice.com
Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone has any idea how to connect InCopy with Drupal - in other words, to export XML to Drupal,
and use Drupal as a true newsroom CMS?

Best,
M.
