Create a Intranet as a repository for project evaluations with roadmap

I need to create a kind of intranet
as a website for a subsidiary company of a university where
users who own projects can upload their progress (pdf files) and can be reviewed by departments responsible for the revision and thus advance their project in a roadmap or a series of booths evaluating their project

any ideas?
someone who wants to support me and needs support for some tasks?

Drupalize.me FREE videos: Command Line Basics

Hi Drupallers,

I thought this worth sharing here, given the number of BDUG members who have expressed an interest in tools like drush and git, but need to increase their comfort level with working on the command line to manage a Drupal site.

Drupalize.me has a whole series of Command Line Basics videos that are FREE. Check it out:

Drupal install profile to create text and media repository/catalogue

Hi again,

Do any Irish drupalers know of an install profile that would create a repository or catalogue site for audio, text, images and video files plus other file formats to be added later. I'm looking for something that would or could also use the creative commons module and possibly be even drupal 7 based to take advantage of the improvements like RDFa that comes with it.

I'm after something that sits between "just a list of files" and a full dspace repository but any leads would be very welcome

need help getting site into a SVN repository

Hey all,
I've finally gotten to the point of moving my site into the "real world" and off of my desktop running XAMPP. I'm trying to do things proper and I've set up a SVN server at Beanstalk (www.beanstalkapp.com/). So, at this point I'm trying to figure out how to best manage the site and the repository. I'm a SVN newbie, so I'm struggling with how I should go about adding my site files to the repository. I'm using Tortoise SVN for windows. So, should I make a new repository and add the whole Drupal installing into that folder? Or, should I create a repository inside the drupal folder and add the /sites/.. folder into the repository?
I ultimately want to be to be able to have the main live site get committed to the repository every day, then get copied to a test site. I'm just not sure how to best get things initially set up.
