Hi all! I'm using display suite with a 2-column layout, and my node has an entity reference field (field_journal). I'm already displaying field_journal as a rendered entity in the LH column, but I'd also like to display a different grouping of fields from the linked entity in the RH column.

Is there some way to add the same field to a node display in 2 different places in the layout? Or can anyone help me with a workaround?

I'm building a Drupal commerce site and wondering how you'd approach the layout for the body of the following homepage design (see attached). The header is already done. It's the body and footer on which I'd like input. Would you use panels? Simple blocks? Your thoughts, suggestions, caveats, and best practice experiences are appreciated. Many thanks. Intento implementar microdata y schema en mi sitio web pero encontré una incompatibilidad con Display Suite que impide ejecutar el módulo de Drupal de Microdata. Use todos los parches existentes pero no tengo éxito.

Modifique manualmente la plantilla en node.tpl.php, page.tpl.php y logre añadir el richmedia para el titular pero nada más..

¿Hay alguna forma de hacerlo sin pasar por lo anterior? Encontré que algunos experimentaban con template.php y hook... Esperaría una guía al respecto

Hello to all!

I'm new to this group and new to this feature/function.

I am loving the Display Suite and having fun with it.
My current issue that I'm seeing is that another user is able to go in and change what I've done.

How can I avoid this?

I'm at the "administrator" level
... I've created an "admin" role and gave permissions to do certain things, however, I never gave permission to the "Display Suite" function, but yet they are able to see the "Manage Display" tab/link when they "edit" the article, page, book, etc.

I just started using Display Suite and had a quick win with it but see something I don't see how to use.

Which is caused by the rate module appending the widget as HTML code rather than exposing it as a field. There are a lot of explanations on how to solve it in the thread but as a Drupal-noob I suspect that I either fail to enter the proper machine name or add the field in the wrong way.

So could someone be kind enough to give me a more idiot proof step by step guide to solve this issue?

Hi all, I've been reading through various postings on seemingly minor issues with DS through various sites/forums. I have one question regarding the 7.x-2.0 build. When attempting to "manage display" of the user, the display ends up broken. All other tabs, links, etc seem to be working.

At first, I thought it was an overlay issue, but after turning it off, clearing cache, etc. It still performs the same way. Then I thought it was possibly an issue with the Field Group module, which was disabled, cache cleared, and server even restarted. Still the same issue.
