Hey guys! Let me guess, you are still high and in full embrace of the challenging Drupal version that is D8. Well.... so are we!! :-)

That and since its the 2nd month of the year, I think its perfect time to begin the Drupal event planning for this year. Don't you agree?

Let's meet up on the 24th and plan our events for the year. More heads are better than a few!

We are conducting DrupalCamp Cebu hackathon https://2015.drupalcebu.org/ which is already on Drupal 8 and we need developers, themers and even students who are interested to learn and contribute to join us. The site is already near to completion but still it’s a chance for you to get the following after participation:
- learn the recently released D8!
- meet other drupalers and tech experts
- help the drupal community in its advocacy

Requirements:
1) Please bring your laptop.

This event will focus on Drupal 8 now that there is RC1 already. If you are a Drupal developer and havent tried Drupal 8 yet or a Drupal newbie then this is the time to explore D8 together. Lets discover, learn, and contribute to D8 together.

Roald Umandal, Drupal 8 contributor, will help us explore Drupal 8.

This month has been very busy in the drupal community with the release of Drupal 8 RC1 ! If you haven't tried Drupal 8 yet, now it is time to start looking at it and build some projects.

To help us in discovering front end development for the new version of Drupal, Tim Escopete (Developer at Promet Source) will present : Introduction to Theming for Drupal 8.

Drupalcamp Cebu 2015 will be in University of the Philippines Cebu, SRP campus (UPPS) on Saturday November 7 2015.

We want to make the event even better than last year, and there is still a lot to do and prepare. Let's plan and start to get more things done.

We will review what we need to do and try to see how each of us can help. We welcome anyone who wants to help Drupalcamp Cebu.

No technical requirement :)
