I talked with webchick today at the Drupalcon in Copenhagen regarding committing the patch for supporting the FIL language on d7. FIL can be committed in d7 core if someone creates a patch for the update path from tl to fil. As I am very much swamped with work right now (and will be in the coming weeks), I do not have time to investigate on creating the update patch. So, if anyone wants to contribute to core and has time to create a patch, this is a very easy way to contribute to core. It is actually just a simple patch. Thanks.
