KHOI-FM, Heart of Iowa Community Radio, is planning a go-live date with its online streaming and website on August 1st. Unfortunately, our webmaster had emergency surgery this week and we are in need of some individuals with network administration and Drupal knowledge to help us. To learn more about KHOI FM, a non-profit, local startup, you can read our mission and vision statements that are already posted on our website at www.khoifm.org. We will also need help after going live maintaining our website and uploading regularly scheduled programs to an on-demand streaming module.

I just launched my first site with drupal today (tacticconsulting.com). I am starting my own consulting firm. I am now devoting a lot of time to learning Drupal . I would definately like to start attending the meetings and working with other local Drupal users.

P.S. My website is bare bones right now but it should change quite a lot over the next couple weeks! Thank you to everyone who helped with my silly questions

I was driving up to Lake Okoboji area to meet my wife and children (they were vacationing, I was working) and used the time to catch up on podcasts. I listened to the July 7th podcast from Lullabot and found out about the Iowa group. I have just started incorporating Drupal as an integral part of our web presense at Pella Community Schools. I am a relative newbie to Drupal and am very excited to have people in Iowa to network with about Drupal and open source in general. Not to mention the podcast is very informative.

Our main site is Zope (http://www.pella.k12.ia.us) and I am in the process of porting our grade level (elementary) and department sites (middle school & high school) to Drupal. I am also playing with Elgg and we have been using Moodle for 3 years now.
