simple

Hi. I am a newbie Drupaler– about 8 months of working with Drupal.
I am trying to find a simple theme to create a site for a potential client. They already have a designed HTML version and want pretty much everything to look the same. I imagined blocks that can be easily deswigned with html input.

Their products will be sold with a shopping cart. Any suggestions on a good theme and process? Thank you!

I am not here to cut up the twitter module or bring it down. We use it and it works well for multi-user sites.
We have found the Twitter module way to heavy for a basic sites with one user or only one twitter account.
What we ended up doing was dropping some custom php code into a block and got a way faster alternative.

So we have been working on a Simple Twitter module.
It only stores your Twitter Username and Password in the Variables table.

I have just packaged up the first release (ALPHA1) of Mailout module. Mailout provides a simple interface for sending out an email to a group of email addresses.

The group of email addresses can be defined many ways (pasted into text field, role(s), mailing lists (provided by mailout), csv file, etc.) all addative.

Mailout module also provides a template content type, so you can store email templates (broken up into header/body/footer/etc.) to be used when sending a mailout.

I'm very much hoping this isn't a feature request for 4.8... I'll just explain my situation:

I'm making a fundraising auction site for a nonprofit arts center, and really all I want to do is add some attributes for the volunteers adding items to fill out in addition to the description, that is, have a field to enter the name of the person who donated the item, and another field for the estimated market value.

I thought it would be trivial to create my own product type based on the auction module and with an extra field or two, but it has not been!

I can see many reasons to add open-ended text fields in addition to one big block for "description" to products, so I hope someone has some experience or advice.
