We are very excited to announce that Drupal Downunder Sydney will be run as the first ever DrupalCon in the Asia Pacific Region.

DrupalCon Sydney will be held February 6-9, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Coogee only meters from the beach. The event will be filled with high quality sessions, BoFs, training and more - all with the theme of "Growing Drupal Downunder".

Wednesday 18th is the first night of about 5 nights it will take to get your first module working. Last chance to book the last seat. If you can install Drupal, know a little PHP, have a portable computing device, and want to write a module, read on.

With the proliferation of Drupal there has become a large need in the marketplace for Drupal developers, project managers, producers, site builders, architects. We will discuss the changes seen in the Australian market over the last few years.

There will be just over an hour of presentations from speakers and then the night will continue with networking. There will be a bar tab provided by our sponsors Acquia, if you would like food you can order your own from the bar, there will be tables provided in the meet-up area.

Hi, Sorry for the late notice but better late then never, and I realised that some people I have been speaking to where unaware of the mid year mixer... so

We're organising a networking sessions that will include a blend of people from various backgrounds and CMS preferences from Joomla, WordPress, Drupal, Magento and product managers from Product Mavens.

It's all in the spirit of open source.

So if you want to find out a little more about what the other CMSs are doing, network with some brilliant minds and just have a relaxing night out then please come along.

As part of the Warm Up With Drupal series in Sydney, Canberra and Wellington, we'll be running the following Acquia Drupal training courses in Sydney from July 16-20, 2012.

As part of the Global Drupal Training Day on Friday June 22, PreviousNext will be running Hello Drupal! The course provides a high-level introduction of what Drupal does, the community around the software and some of Drupal's core features and paradigms.

Based on some feedback from last month, we're going to experiment with "BoFs" (Birds of a Feather), which will be small group discussions about particular topics. These groups will form on the night, but if you have a topic you'd like to lead please make a comment below - ideally you can do a short lightning talk about your topic before we break out.
