Sydney Drupal meetup - June - call for contributions
Hello Drupal girls and guys!
The theme for June Sydney meetup is "Drupal Testing". Exactly as a month ago, we need YOU! :)
There is an incomplete list of what Drupal testing can mean:
- Simpletest, unit test
- load test
- penetration tests
- functional test
- manual test
- running the above from drush, hooking them into jenkins, etc.
As the Testing theme could be a bit advanced for newbies (whom we want to make feel welcome), ideally, we will find somebody who can present an interesting site build which has kind of tests(s) in place.

Volunteers needed to test DrupalCon training course. Limited seats.
We're running a training course at DrupalCon Portland in a bit over a week. We're looking for about 2 to 3 volunteers to sit in on a trial run of the course, and give us some feedback so that we can finish polishing it up.
The course covers the usage of components from Symfony to develop for Drupal 8. We'd ideally like to have people come along who have a development background and prior knowledge of Drupal 7, and who would be interested in developing for Drupal 8.

We’re opening this discussion up because we’d like to have co-organisers added to the Sydney Drupal group on Meetup.com. Meetup.com makes it simple to run a group with more than one organiser, and we’d like to take advantage of this capability.
The Melbourne Drupal group uses the Meetup.com co-organiser feature very effectively.
We’d like to propose that we have three co-organisers for the Drupal Sydney group on Meetup.com, so we’re asking for volunteers to take up two more positions.

Hey everyone,
I am looking for someone that could take on a couple of my current clients. So I am looking for someone that:
- lives in Sydney
- mostly works as a freelancer so can be on call for small jobs at different times
- is happy to provide ongoing support for a wide range of Drupal related tasks
These two clients have different Drupal 6 and 7 sites and need mostly ongoing support for things like:
- Modifying views
- Modifying content types
- Mostly simple theme modifications
- Some work at a server level
- Other not Drupal related but mostly simple tasks
