Found this in the local drupal group discussion-- Drupal Community cultivation grants Drupal assoc program that provides financial support for drupal event organisers.

acc to the post-- The first grant cycle ends July 31 - the first accepted grants will be announced at DrupalCon London. A second grant cycle begins August 1 and runs through September 30.

El pasado miércoles 22 de junio, se llevó a cabo una drupalada nocturna en el Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, en Cartago.
Allí impartí la charla "Introducción a drush", de la cual les quiero compartir la primera parte.
Esta charla también era una deuda con la comunidad de drupal de centroamérica desde el pasado Drupal Camp Centroamericano, así que ya voy cumpliendo. :)

Quiero compartirles el video de esta charla titulada "Instalación Drupal 7 en IIS y MSSQL server con WebPI".
Esta charla fue impartida en el evento de Interoperabilidad de la Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica en Heredia, Auditorio Clodomiro Picado, el pasado 22 de junio del 2011.

Hola amigos drupaleros mexicanos.

En la universidad en donde estoy trabajando desean procesar pagos por internet a los alumnos (colegiaturas u otro pago de servicios).

Espero que estén bien compañeros hoy les traigo dos pequeños artículos sobre el maravilloso mundo de Drupal, uno sobre mantenimiento básico de este CMS y otro sobre el módulo Throttle, siendo este ultimo una herramienta muy útil para afrontar la sobrecarga del servidor debido a exceso de visitas soportadas.

Hi all,

I'm a total newbie working on git, trying to set up version control with drupal. Hope this a right place to ask... otherwise just kick me off.

My aim is to use an external service (either bettercodes or gitenterprise) to host a remote repository for my drupal projects.

i followed the instruction on this page : http://drupal.org/node/803746
I success only If i just grab a tar.gz from d.o, set up locally, then push to the remote repo.

In case i take my drupal copy from git.drupal.org, perform the same operations, then push, i obtain these errors (gitenterprise)

Buenas Tardes drupaleros, abro este Post para promover algunas reuniones informales para la gente que esta en Arequipa.

El pasado viernes, nos reunimos 4 drupaleros en la ciudad de Arequipa para confraternizar y por supuesto, hablar sobre Drupal. Tenemos las idea de reunirnos de vez en cuando, invitando ademas a todas las personas interesadas en Drupal que se encuentren en arequipa. Por supuesto no es necesario tener un conocimiento avanzado drupalistico, es mas aqui es posible resolver algunas dudas que se tenga.

Una posible fecha de reunión sera este próximo viernes 08 de Julio a las 6:30 de la tarde en el local de Cuzco Coffe en la primera cuadra de la cale la merced (la que esta al lado de la Plaza de Armas).

Y bueno les cuento que tal nos fue el pasado viernes. Fuimos 4 drupaleros que nos encontramos a las 6:30 de la tarde en el mismo local. Yo, David que nos visita desde Australia , mi socia Karin que emplea Drupal para paginas web comerciales y Juan Carlos que aunque recien esta conociendo drupal esta muy avanzado y con ganas de conocer mas especialmente sobre themes. Conversamos sobre la posibilidad de hacer algun tipo de evento Drupal aqui en la ciudad de Arequipa posiblemente en Agosto y se nota el interes por sacar algun evento de este tipo.

I've been messing around with Drupal and Titanium for a while. I started out with sumitk's examples and then when the Palentir code became available, I experimented a bit with that. I have not however been able to cobble together a working application with the functionality I desire.

The code that Palentir provided is very powerful, in that it keeps a persistent store of the drupal objects, in the phone. It is rather complex, however and difficult to follow (at least for me). It also uses views_datasource rather then services, which for some applications is not secure.
