The Technical Specialist is the expert for a technical development or execution environment product or set of products. The primary responsibility of the Technical Specialist is to ensure the availability and facilitate the productive use of a product for Application Teams or end users. . The Technical Specialist will have significant experience in the operating environment(s) (e.g., HP/UX, NT, MVS, etc.) on which the product is implemented. If the product is one that was internally developed, the supporting PS should also have most of the skills of a Programmer.

Pitches, don't we love 'em. Many times we are in competition with other CMS-es. Personally, i often hear Sitecore for the larger enterprise solutions and WordPress for the generic publishing platforms. Every now and then we come across Typo3 (especially in Germany). Which CMS-es do you encounter in pitches and what are your compelling 'selling' arguments to choose for Drupal?

My agency is looking to move our directives website to, we hope a web application. We need to move it to our current CMS but in the future we will like to host it in Drupal 8.

The site has about 15 pages and hundreds of pdf files that are the directives, procedures, certificates …. with their respective pending/old/new versions. We were wondering if someone can share their set up with their pros and cons, lesson learned and any recommendations. Tengo un sitio Drupal en el directorio raíz www.misitio.com y me piden instalar en un subdirectorio www.misitio.com/deportivas otro CMS (Wordpress). Cada vez que ejecutó el instalador entiendo que por las redirecciones (pathauto y htaccess) no puedo ejecutarla correctamente. Mi duda es:

1- ¿puedo independizar de alguna manera el subdirectorio www.misitio.com/deportivas para que exista ningún cruce ni afecte mi sitio principal?.
2- ¿hago lo correcto en cuanto a las normas de Drupal?
3- ¿existe algún comando para ignorar las redirecciones en se subdirectorio?

I have to create a Dating Site with these features:
- Men register their Profiles with all characteristics (Age, Eyes' Color, Hair's Color..)
- Women register on Site but they don't have to insert any information about them
- Women can insert an announcement that is visible only by men that correspond to the searched filters.

Example
John registers himself with these characteristics:
- Age 18

I'm new to Red Hen, and I have had a lot of experience with CiviCRM, but I am ready to jump into the Red Hen flock (I raise chickens too, so it's a good match). Enough of that.

I hope someone can help me with the following flow: A new user signs up. During registration, RedHen contact info is collected. One piece that is also collected is, using check boxes, s/he can select one or more organizations that s/he is affiliated with, and that already exist as organizations in RedHen.
