No meeting on 1/25, further discussion at the next Happy Hour
It's a good time for a check-in: there's talk of combining the JAM with the monthly meetup. I think it's a good idea to reduce the overall number of commitments that an active community member makes, but I also think it's important to ensure that new users always have a place to go. Now is a great time to focus on keeping up the good things that the TC Drupal community is doing well, without losing sight of attracting new participation.

Drupal for Good - Twin Cities Style
As many of you are aware, our friend and colleague Matthew Tift has been writing a lot about the Drupal Community and most recently, Drupal as a Political Act.
He has also been having discussions with a number of people about re-emphasizing the idea of Drupal as a social good and encouraging more thought on how the Drupal community is doing things to make the world a better place. I've had a couple of such discussions with him and he's inspired me to think more about these topics.

So believe it or not, I have been working with Drupal since 2013, and I never even knew this group met up or existed. I really wish I had known before!
I just wanted to say hi, and that I plan to join in with some of the Twin Cities Drupal events as my schedule allows. Excited to be able to talk with others face to face.
