Welcome to VANDUG!
The Vancouver Drupal Users Group (VanDUG) is the local meeting place for Greater Vancouver people interested in Drupal. We were formerly known as the Vancouver League of Drupalers, but that's a long story.
The group mostly hangs out on Slack at https://vandug.slack.com/. We also post our meetings on Meetup.com at https://www.meetup.com/Vancouver-Drupal-Users-Group. All are welcome, it's listed as a private group to keep out the griefers.
We've been holding semi-regular virtual meetings during COVID-19.

Help with events module?
Hey all--
We've been having a glitch with the events module at work, and I was wondering if anyone has encountered the same thing and/or knows how to get around it...
Thanks in advance for any help!

On a site running Drupal 4.7 there seems to be an issue with the event listing display.
Events which have a start and end date on the same day, but which start after 6pm will bump the end date/time to the next day. Confused? Here's an example:

Vancouver Super Happy Dev House at Bryght sponsored by Socialtext
Socialtext'ers are descending on Vancouver as part of their annual migration to meet, hack, and plan. They came up with the idea of bringing the Bay Area-based Super Happy Dev House to Vancouver.
Bryght is providing the venue and BBQ space. Edit the wiki page to let us know you're coming (also, upcoming.org).

Space is open! If you're interested in presenting please add a comment or contact Boris or myself. It can be as informal as a 15 minute review of your experience with a module. We encourage non-technical presentations on how Drupal did or didn't meet expectations, as well as the presentations only a developer could love.
