Welcome to VANDUG!
The Vancouver Drupal Users Group (VanDUG) is the local meeting place for Greater Vancouver people interested in Drupal. We were formerly known as the Vancouver League of Drupalers, but that's a long story.
The group mostly hangs out on Slack at https://vandug.slack.com/. We also post our meetings on Meetup.com at https://www.meetup.com/Vancouver-Drupal-Users-Group. All are welcome, it's listed as a private group to keep out the griefers.
We've been holding semi-regular virtual meetings during COVID-19.

Here's a summary of Mack Hardy's excellent talk on Post Carbon Institute's use of Drupal:

Hopefully the video works out.
And I see that Mack has posted a link to their OG2list work: http://postcarbon.org/og2list_release_for_download.
I wish I could have joined everyone who hoisted a pint afterwards. :-(

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to write in and link to Steven's excellent post titled "Drupal's Designer Future" in case you didn't see it:

Let's work together to make Drupal better for designers! There is a lot that can be done that will make our lives easier and benefit the entire Drupal community. It's not an easy task, but let's figure out a game plan and priorities to get some enhancements done now so they can be included in the next release.

As promised, a write-up of my presentation at the January Drupalers meeting.
My name is Dale McGladdery, and I'm a Drupala ... sorry, wrong meeting. Here we go.
Northern Voice Scheduling Grid
The Views module via theming allows custom formatting of list views using PHP code. This formatting method, combined with CCK, can be used to provide a data driven schedule grid. This was used to create the Northern Voice scheduling grid: 2007.northernvoice.ca/schedule.

This Views feature was also used to create the Northern Voice FAQ page: 2007.northernvoice.ca/faq
My apologies for people looking for an exact how-to. This will, I'm positive, give you enough information to recreate the grid, but it isn't a complete set of step-by-step instructions.

For those who haven't spotted it yet and are interested in learning more about Drupal programming, including how to navigate the twists and turns of CVS, check out the Drupal Dojo group. <a href="/user/429>joshk with the help of some notable Drupal developers has been putting on screencasts with Skype audio conferencing to provide a real classroom experience. The classes are being archived as video files and in written notes.
