The Vancouver Drupal Users Group (VanDUG) is the local meeting place for Greater Vancouver people interested in Drupal. We were formerly known as the Vancouver League of Drupalers, but that's a long story.
The group mostly hangs out on Slack at https://vandug.slack.com/. We also post our meetings on Meetup.com at https://www.meetup.com/Vancouver-Drupal-Users-Group. All are welcome, it's listed as a private group to keep out the griefers.
We've been holding semi-regular virtual meetings during COVID-19.

Surrey Drupal Meetup: Using Drupal Gardens & What's New in Drupal 7?

Ryan Dempsey of Katanamite.com will demonstrate how to build a website quickly using Drupal Gardens. DrupalGardens.com is a hosted service that enables you to build a Drupal 7 site from design to online in 15 minutes. Afterwards, we will discuss what’s new in Drupal 7 and what we learned at the PNW Drupal Summit (Oct. 2/3, 2010)

Join us for Co-Work Event before our Surrey Drupal meetup on Oct. 14th. We've booked a large table by the door for 3 - 6pm. Unfortunately, the conference room is booked at this time. At 6pm, we can move to the conference room. The regular meetup starts at 7 pm.
Bring your work projects and work side by side with other Drupallers and freelancers. We'll also have time to chat and socialize.

I live in Surrey, and only recently found out about my local Drupal User Group. I've been able to attend twice, and each time I'm very glad I went. I really wish I could take part more often and help contribute to and grow the group.
