Welcome to VANDUG!
The Vancouver Drupal Users Group (VanDUG) is the local meeting place for Greater Vancouver people interested in Drupal. We were formerly known as the Vancouver League of Drupalers, but that's a long story.
The group mostly hangs out on Slack at https://vandug.slack.com/. We also post our meetings on Meetup.com at https://www.meetup.com/Vancouver-Drupal-Users-Group. All are welcome, it's listed as a private group to keep out the griefers.
We've been holding semi-regular virtual meetings during COVID-19.

Random Hacks of Kindness (this weekend!)
Random Hacks of Kindness (RHoK) is a global movement that connects developers from around the world with local non-profit organizations to help solve technological challenges.
The Vancouver event will open the evening of November 30th with a reception (including free beer as in Free Beer!) and project presentations. This will be followed by a two-day hackathon on Saturday December 1 and Sunday December 2.

Drupal 8 Code Sprint in Vancouver
Join us in charming Gastown, Vancouver for two days of code sprinting to get Drupal 8 in great shape before feature freeze!
On day 1, Friday November 16th, we'll be working out of the Hollyhock room in the Flack Block at Cambie and Hastings. This is an awesome space and our rental of it is kindly sponsored by Acquia.
Then on day 2 we will work out of the Affinity Bridge office in the famous Dominion Building, right across the street - thanks so much to Affinity Bridge for letting us use their space!
