Thanks to everyone who attended last month's meetup. We had a good turn-out and everyone enjoyed Geoff's new module discussion. The impromptu Drupal 7 demo was also a nice surprise.
This month we have some newly requested topics, search engine optimization and running a freelance business.
When: Thursday, February 18th
Time: 6:30pm - 9pm (Show up around 6:30pm for firm 7pm start!!)
Venue: ABC Centre 700 Harris Street, Ultimo ( Map | Directions )
Venue Details
The ABC Centre has some security issues, so it is important that people arrive early and sign in at the security desk so that we can take everyone into the building at once. Everyone just waits and chats in the lobby, so just look around for us if you're new. If you have problems you can call either of us. Many thanks go to the ABC for providing this venue.
Parking is possible at parking meters around Thomas street and Mary-Anne street. But they take a 2 hour max i think. There are carparks behind the abc $15 (enter from Thomas street, but on the chinatown side). Also, you can get all-evening parking at the Citigate (I think that's the name) parking station for (updated) $10 (starting after 5pm, I think, and stays open until well after midight). It's at the end of the Thomas street dead end (Eastern/Chinatown side), which is very close to the ABC's back entrance.

First Timer
Hi All,
I'm glad to have found out about this developers' group. I'm a small-time Drupal developer who's never met up with more than 1 or 2 other developers before so I'm looking forward to the Feb meetup.
Nick
apologies
I am not going to make it tonight - hope to make the next one.
SEO Presentation
I've uploaded my SEO presentation on Slideshare.
Thanks guys for listening.
@rcross: Thanks for the business presentation. Loved the idea of "Due on Receipt" for invoices. And also the idea of keeping a journal either on paper or electronic (email ideas to self so it can be searched).
