Meeting Schedule

We are planning to hold some rotating meetings this upcoming year. We would like to continue a rotation between communities every few months or so. If you would like to host a meeting in your community, go for it!

Welcome to the Drupal groups page of the Drupalhawks user group. We are a collection of Drupal enthusiasts from Eastern Iowa. of all skill levels that meet on a regular basis to learn, share the things we've figured out, and spread the good word about Drupal. Hey gang...
Drupal training brings me into Iowa City for the week and i'm looking for FOOD!
Last night was awesome with Hans and Brandon at Shorts Burgers and Shine on Clinton street.
What am I doing tonight and tomorrow? YOU TELL ME! ;-)

The event is geared toward beginners to intermediates...some technical discussion, but also sharing of best practices and ideas for professionals who are using Drupal in their daily work (like me!). Would love to have Experts attend as well, but we likely won't be getting into really advanced topics at these sessions (in order to keep it accessible/useful to the newbies).

DrupalCamp Twin Cities 2013

Registration is now open for DrupalCamp Twin Cities, July 18-21st, held at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, MN. http://2013.tcdrupal.org

We're very excited about this year's DrupalCamp. We have a record number of sessions submissions, some really excellent keynote speakers, and the best DrupalCamp parties in the country. Before camp the University of MN is hosting a weeklong Accessibility testing of Drupal 8 and we have Accessibility, Twig, Media and Core sprints happening after the camp.

The 2013 DrupalCorn camp is organizing a Media/File Entity sprint on the last day of the camp.

Just got back from DrupalCon 2013 in Portland. I'm exhausted but excited to start looking at Drupal 8. Let's try installing it where ever we can. If we get it up and running lets poke around under the hood and see what we can find.
