This group is aimed at all German speaking Drupal users and developers. It is a central place of information exchange, e.g. regarding events in Germany, coordination of meetings, marketing and everything else related to the German Drupal community.

What is Ignite?
Ignite is a geek event in over 100 cities worldwide. At the events Ignite presenters share their personal and professional passions, using 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds for a total of just five minutes.

Drupal-7-Contrib-Module-Code-Sprint in Frankfurt am 29. und 30. Januar 2011
Die Veröffentlichung von Drupal 7 steht jetzt unmittelbar bevor. Im Gegensatz zum Core sind aber viele Contrib-Module für Drupal 7 noch in einem unfertigen Zustand oder die Migration hat noch gar nicht begonnen.
Um diese Situation zu verbessern, sponsert die Cocomore AG einen Drupal-7-Contrib-Module-Code-Sprint, denn vor Ort gemeinsam mit anderen Entwicklern lassen sich aufkommende Probleme schneller lösen.

Drupal 7 Release Party - Frankfurt am Main, Germany
This party almost slipped through the cracks... but we had a good time at O'Reilly's Irish Pub in downtown Frankfurt.
Thank you to everyone who helped and who joined for the party.
One nice surprise was a visit from a group of Typo3 developers who we're working on converting to a superior choice in open-source content management. ;-)

Wir wollen ein abwechslungsreiches Programm anbieten und laden herzlichst ein an dem Event teilzunehmen und Sessions einzureichen.

Einleitung
Drupal ist eine Open Source Plattform und ein Content Management System (CMS), mit dem dynamische Webseiten erstellt werden können. Von einer lebhaften Community vorangetrieben etabliert sich Drupal zunehmend zum führenden Produkt für Social Software Lösungen. Es hat bereits einen bedeutsamen Anteil am amerikanischen und weltweiten Markt für CMS des öffentlichen Sektors gewonnen und befindet sich damit auf einem Weg kontinuierlichen Wachstums. Die wachsende Liste berühmter Regierungsorganisationen, die Drupal für ihren Internetauftritt eingesetzt haben, und die erst vor Kurzem erfolgte Anerkennung durch den Industrieanlalysten Gartner, der Drupal als visionäres Produkt am Markt bezeichnete, sind deutliche Zeichen dafür, dass dieses Wachstum in Zukunft weiter beschleunigt wird.

Hello,
I'm hoping to move to either this year or next and wondered if there was any companies that were willing to take me on. I do not ask for much, but I would prefer some level of proximity to another drupaler so I can continue my knowledge using drupal in different ways. I'm willing to learn new languages and I am happy to share what knowledge I may have and gain.
I've touched on E-commerce and theming views and custom forms/pages with and without the use of the content construction kit.

Drupal-Stammtisch am 13.7. in Rostock
Endlich wieder ein neuer Stammtisch!
Am Dienstag, 13.7. (nein, nicht am 6.7.2010!) findet unser allmonatlicher Drupal-Stammtisch um 19 Uhr im Plan.B in Rostock statt. Meine Wunschthemen sind DrupalCon Copenhagen und weiteres Brainstorming zu 'nem DrupalCamp im Norden.

Das erste Drupalcamp ins Rumänien
Während der 5-te und 6-te Juni 2010 wird die erste große lokale Drupalcamp in Rumänien, Temeschburg (Timisoara) stattfinden. Die Veranstaltung wird von Drupal Association Rumänien in Partnerschaft mit die "Polytechnische" Universität Temeschburg, die Studenten an der Automatik und Computer Fakultät Liga und der Software Business Incubator organisiert. Eine Reihe von anderen Organisationen und Unternehmen haben bereits ihre Unterstützung für diese Veranstaltung angekündigt.
Drupalcamp Temeschburg (Timisoara) werde hunderte von Anwendern und Entwicklern aus Rumänien und anderen mittel-und osteuropäischen Staaten veranstalten sowie Referenten aus der globalen Drupal Community. Weil Temeschburg liegt in der Nähe der serbischen und ungarischen Grenze und auch Bulgarien, Kroatien, Bosnien und Österreich sind nah genug, wir erwarten eine Regionale Auswirkung für die Konferenz. Alle Präsentationen werden in englischer Sprache abgehalten.

Drupal Developer Days 2010 will be held on the campus Lothstr. of the Munich University of Applied Sciences from May 7 (pre-registration) until May 9 2010.
