This group is aimed at all German speaking Drupal users and developers. It is a central place of information exchange, e.g. regarding events in Germany, coordination of meetings, marketing and everything else related to the German Drupal community.

Drupalcamp Vienna 2009
Hi all, in case you don't know it already, there will be an international Drupalcamp in Vienna / Austria on Nov, 27th and 28th.
After successful camps in Cologne and Aarau this event is the third Drupalcamp in a German-speaking country this year, and the first one in Austria generally.

Hallo deutsche Drupaler!
Es freut mich ja zu sehen, das immer mehr Drupal-User aktiv werden und nun scheinen wir uns für nächstes Jahr schon gegenseitig mit Veranstaltungen Konkurenz zu machen. Aus diesem Grunde hier ein paar Gedanken von mir und die Idee, dass alle die nächstes Jahr ein Drupal-Event veranstalten möchten, sich hier absprechen könnten!

City selection for DrupalCon 2010 still wide open
Please note that the list of cities from http://groups.drupal.org/node/26241 (as per the BoF in Paris) is just a list of possible suggestions. Please see the draft document that has been proposed for city selection guidelines: http://groups.drupal.org/node/27246
The goal is to publish that document at the end of this week (after incorporating feedback from the community) and to start receiving city proposals immediately after that. Since we need to have recommendations to give to the Drupal Association by October 15 the proposal phase will have to be short. The proposal phase will probably end October 1. After that we will have the proposals reviewed by the events agency to gather their feedback in time for the October 15 deadline.
If you want DrupalCon in your city/country in 2010 please review the document and add your feedback!

Nachdem Ihr so positiv auf den Thread http://groups.drupal.org/node/26086 reagiert habt , mache ich mal den Termin Montag, 28. September für das erste Treffen fest. Außerdem könnt Ihr Euch dann hier anmelden und wir sehen, wer bzw. wieviele kommen.

Nachdem immer mehr Neue und Umsteiger zu Drupal kommen, würden wir gerne ein regelmäßiges Treffen in Düsseldorf planen, das zusätzlich zu den schon existierenden in Köln und Essen (Ruhrgebiet) bestehen soll. Einerseits im Sinne eines Stammtisches, aber auch mit gezielten Tips für Ein-/Umsteiger und auch als Treffen, um Fragen aus eigenen Projekten zu diskutieren und Erfahrungen auszutauschen.

- Drupal 7 Code Sprint with Dries - 10:00-18:00 CEST (GMT +2) with lunch break - local and remote developers will coordinate to create, review and commit patches to D7.
UPDATE - webchick will be with us helping commit our patches to D7. She'll be pulling an all-nighter from Toronto, so let's make it worth her while!

Chris and John are doing a charity bike ride called Le Tour de Drupal from London to Paris arriving just in time at the start of the DrupalCon Paris 2009.

For the fourth year in a row, Drupal people will be coming to Sankt Augustin, Germany, for FrOSCOn, an awesome open source software conference. This year, though, there is a special treat, as Dries Buytaert has been asked to give a keynote presentation. Drupal will have a developer room with lectures on the Saturday and a BarCamp/Code Sprint on Sunday. FrOSCon is a lot of fun, and we look forward to seeing you there!

75 euros (without VAT) / room / night
If the attendee is a student, the VAT is non-applicable, otherwise 5,5% VAT applicable.
The tariff includes:

Since last night, PayPal refused to let you go through with your registrations.
It is fixed now, and you can go ahead with the Early Birds.
Due to this delay, we add one day to the deadline, which is now July 13th.
This also means, that the voting on sessions will be prolonged one day (same deadline), as otherwise you did not have a chance to vote.
