Lehigh Valley

This group should probably have more organizers. See documentation on this recommendation.

To bring together Drupal developers, themers, and enthusiasts in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania's third most populous area!

The Lehigh Valley officially includes Lehigh, Northampton and Carbon counties in eastern Pennsylvania and Warren county on the western edge of New Jersey, including the cities of Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, and Phillipsburg.

Join this group and feel free to post a new discussion if you have a question you'd like to ask other Lehigh Valley Drupalers or just to show off a project you've been working on!

Have something specific you'd like us to help you learn? Submit a suggestion!

Drupalize.me Meetup Membership

I've applied for a Drupalize.me Meetup Membership at http://drupalize.me/meetup-membership-application for the Lehigh Valley Drupal Group. If we get a quick response from drupalize.me, we might be able to use it at our meeting on Monday the 10th.

We probably won't be able to use it yet, but for future reference, does anyone know of any content on Drupalize.me they would want to see at a meetup? You can browse their collection at http://drupalize.me/videos

LV Meetup in Portland

Who's going to Portland and wants to try and get together?

There are a lot of activities throughout the week, so it seems as though Monday night would be the best/safest. My flight doesn't get in until later, so I wouldn't make it until around 9pm or so.

If you're interested:
- post here
- identify the best way(s) to get in touch with you while in Portland (if you don't want to post details, just use the contact form for me and send me a private message)
- if you will be arriving early enough, volunteer to scope out a good food/beverage place for us to hit up.

March Meetup

Sorry all - I've been on the road and lost track of time. Technically, this coming Monday is the 2nd Monday of the month (we discussed using that schedule to be more reliable). However, until now no notice has gone out and I haven't lined up a location.

I'd like to recommend that we adjust 1 week back this month, and do the meetup on Monday, March 18th at 6:30 instead. Does that work for everyone?

We have 3 needs for this to happen:

  1. People to be able to come (obviously!)
  2. A place to host
  3. Presentations*

Meetup Planning

One of the housekeeping items we talked about tonight was continuing on our recent string of regularity. Instead of bootstrapping the entire "which night is best" discussion every month we proposed picking one night so that everyone can always plan on it ahead of time.

From our last poll, it seemed as though Monday nights were the most popular.
