Does anyone have properly working Advertisement module in OP 2.2?
openpublish-2.2-build285
Ad 6.x-2.2
If yes, was it somehow tweaked to work with? I'm not sure if this is a common problem or our set of additional modules/configuration. Here is the description of the multiple problems with ad module functionality in OP we have:

We tried OpenX a bit and as for now like simplicity of ad module over it. Any help/suggestions are welcome.
Thanks a lot,
Gennady

Gennady,
We're running 4 online magazines now on Openpublish (2 on 2.1 and 2 on 2.0) and have experimented with a number of different options for carrying advertising.
the best one by far for us is to use the Google Admanager Module which then uses the Google DFP service (http://www.google.com/dfp) to serve the ads.
This way you can manage all your ads off-site and crucially for us, carry adverts across different websites without having to set them up for each one.
Second benefit is that if you haven't sold the adverts you can set DFP to run adsense ads in the space instead earning you money against remnant space.
It's worth evaluating for your site anyway.
Brief instructions:
* add the admanager module
* sign up for dfp account
* on the dfp site create your ad slots
* activate module on your site
* add your adsense publisher id into the module settings
* use the context module settings to add the auto-created blocks into the correct positions, dropping the OP created blocks
Check it out on our magazine sites:
Traveller and Tourist Magazine
newlyweds-uk Wedding Magazine
Family and Parenting Magazine
Home and Decorating Magazine
Thank you very much
Thank you very much Adam,
Will give it a try. Just curious what was the second runner up on your list.
Regards,
Gennady
