Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I have just rolled the first beta release of Services 3! For those who haven't been following, this is a complete rewrite of Services from the ground up. This rewrite was started by Hugo Wetterberg, then I took it from there to alpha, and Kyle Browning has recently been doing a ton of work in the queue to get us into beta. Thanks also to John Storey who has contributed our first set of Simpletests! All this help has been greatly appreciated as I have been planning an international move for the last several months.

So what now? Well there are a bunch of handbook pages setup which provide an overview of how the new version will work, and lots of code examples. You can find those here.

Please download and test the new version! I really want it to be solid when we go to final release.

Kyle Browning has been driving the Drupal 7 release of Services 3 and we hope to have that in beta shortly. We may end up a couple weeks late on our D7CX pledge, but it shouldn't be too bad.

Thanks everyone! Enjoy!

AMF support?

Great to see Services moving into D7! I notice AMF isn't supported yet. Is this assumed to be temporary, or has AMF been dropped?

AMF has never been supported

AMF has never been supported by Services itself - the support has always been provided by other modules that are extending Services. Those modules will probably be updated by someone to support Services 3.x.
