What do you guys think about new API's launched by Facebook last week? It seems like it's going to make dataportability really easy. Here's the announcement on Facebook's site: http://developers.facebook.com/news.php?blog=1&story=108
Are there any drupal apps that enable you to do this already? I know of the Authentication module.

I liked what I read.
I contacted them to give me more details on implementation so I could begin integrating it into the facebook_auth and FB modules.
Drupal for Facebook will support it too
Drupal for Facebook has some features to do this sort of thing. When you add an application, it can prompt you for an existing username and password to associate your Drupal account with your Facebook account. Also, it provides a link from Drupal to a canvas page which prompts you to add the application.
Facebook Connect will make this sort of thing easier to develop and less kludgy for the user. But its not ready for public comsumption. Facebook only made a developer preview available yesterday.
