Apparently group admins can no longer delete posts. Please delete the following event posts. We plan to posted again under the "LA Drupal" user closer to the event date, as we have traditionally done in the past; plus posting closer to the event date has an added benefit of an email announcement.

For what it's worth, "we" is the majority of the LA Drupal management. While I don't agree with the internal decision that was made, I do agree with the process that was followed here. I'm glad mike stewart followed my suggestion to make this request in the Maintenance group.

Thanks for getting this taken care of. Now our members should have less hassle knowing which nodes are official LA DRUPAL announcements and events.
