Hello,
I am having troubles installing OpenPublish on my shared hosting account with 1and1. Has anyone had experience with that? After I select the language, it waits for a while and then gives me a 500 error.

I just wanted to add that I installed Drupal 7 successfully on the same account but problems with OpenPublish persist.

OP will often time out or
OP will often time out or reach php memory limits while installing on shared hosting. You will need to contact their support to see if they can make the adjustments for you. Here is a link to the technical requirements that OP needs:
