It's the long absent me. My Drupal life is way changed in the last 30 days but more on that later. Believe it or not, it's time to start planning SandCamp 2012.
To start our year off with a splash, I'd like to announce confirmed keynote speaker Jacob Redding who is Executive Director of the Drupal Association, bonafide geek, savant and general Drupal raconteur. Published, authorized and association approved, Jacob is a long-time contributor and facilitator in our community. Not as often in the headlines but ever present on the work front, we're very pleased to have him share his wit and wisdom. If you know Jacob, please thank him for saying "yes."
I'd like to (with your permissions) hijack a portion of the meeting to get a few things accomplished:
- Confirm dates
- Share new format ideas for SandCamp
- Share venue & hotel suggestions for SandCamp
- Get COD up at 2012.SandCamp.org with the dates
- Set the camp meeting dates in advance.
I'm OK with using last year's atrium. It didn't work that great but was better than nothing. All eyes are on us as we are lobbying for DrupalCon 2013 but more on that later too.
